“ I can't believe my last Yelp rating was 5 years ago and my apologies to Chepo's for not updating our reviews over the years. Our 5 year old review still stands. We've been pretty regular customers for many years since our good friend's mother passed away and we lost not only a beautiful Mexican grandmother but the best authentic homemade Tamales north of western central Mexico where she was from. In our opinion. Chepo's Tamales and their chicken Enchiladas are absolutely the best you'll be able to find anywhere near Vacaville. The enchiladas are my wife's favorite with the tamales running a close second. The owner and his son are always helpful and friendly for everything from a quick lunch or dinner to take home or a large group of friends and family for a pool side get together. We've never been disappointed. We're currently sitting on orders for two of our kids families in opposite directions from Vacaville. Our kids were often treated to Chepo's tamales and enchiladas. We had to be careful because any extra tamales left in the refrigerator or freezer became a siren's call for their neighborhood friends who would make them disappear for after school snacks. Do yourself a favor and treat yourself and your family to the best tamales and enchiladas in our area and beyond. The very reasonable price, the authentic flavors and having the pleasure of doing business directly with a genuine, longtime family owned business will brighten your day and your taste buds. Just remember it's a takeout so you'll need to hurry home. Tamales and enchiladas can be a real challenge to eat while driving. One last tip, you'll need to order your enchiladas a day in advance but you'll know they're made fresh for you from one family to another just like grandma. I'll try not to wait another 5 years for an update. ”
“ Fantastic family run restaurant. With their main dish, the tamales! The three main flavors I go for are chicken, pork, and chili con queso. Get them in big packs, or individually. Would even be fantastic for a party! They will also give you small green sauce cups. Service was quick and easy, parking right out front ”
